In 1997 we, and our extended family vacationed on Sanibel Island. On our last day we went to a condominium "open house". Our bags were already packed but we made an offer and flew back to our home just outside of Minneapolis, not knowing if it was accepted.
We spend 4 weeks a year in our gulf-view unit and rent it out the remaining time. When you're here, your on "island time" and longer you stay the lazier you become.
Favorite Pastime: Collecting shells, sand dollars, hermit crabs, starfish, mermaids purses
Traditions: Watching the sunset and then going to McT's Shrimp House and Tavern for freshly caught gulf shrimp.
Area Must See: Ding Darling National Wildlife Refudge, the drive to Captiva Village, music at Ellington's Jazz Bar, the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum
Winter Fun: Boat cruise to Cabbage Key where Jimmy Buffet wrote "Cheeseburgers in Paradise"

is the 5th or 6th year my mother and I have spend
Christmas in Sanibel. It’s a great way to ring in the New Year.
We’ve
also visited in spring and summer. Of the 6+ condos we stayed in at Pointe
Santo and Sanibel Inn, your has the best-appointed kitchen by far. I
really enjoy cooking on vacation, because I don’t have time in my work life. It’s
such a pleasure to have everything I needed and great quality cookware.
I’ve
been coming to Sanibel since 1985. Its such a special place I hope to own my
own condo here, but until then, we will return to D32. Thanks for sharing it
with us.

We
want to thank you so much for letting us visit your condo. It is absolutely
beautiful and so well equipped with anything and everything we could have ever
needed. The memories we had here will last a lifetime. This is our 2nd
time to Sanibel and we can’t wait to come back. Life gets hectic and being here
you can just relax and enjoy everything with the most important being undivided
family time.
